Level 3 Bag of Holding FTW! And while we're at it, extradimensional rips and tears in space, and that nice ring of holding too!
Lol. The idea more storage = happy players should be a good equation for Anet to figure out =)

I think ANet/Devs of GW should have more storage in GW (maybe some difficult quest that gives you this extra storage which the OP suggested)

Only things I ever keep in storage are a FEEWW crafter materials [I sell the ones exceeding 250] or multiple weapons/headgear to change my character roles.
Going from W/N Axe to W/Mo hammer is cool.
From Trapper to BeastMaster Ranger/Monk is good too.
But that only needs about 5 spots of storage with the rest being devoted to crafting.
I'd hate to see what you people's houses look like...

Actually I frequently use each of my Axes, Swords and Armor, except for the +5 Energy Sword (that is really a PvE Sword). PvPing with a Guild Wars PvE Character requires lots of stuff and lots of flexibility.
The way I see it, Guild Wars is a PvP game for PvEers. To a gamer like myself, the ability to PvP with my PvE character means something, and I believe that A.Net should know that. Right now, I could not imagine having three PvP ready characers, due to the huge need of armor and weapon space. Any collector or "fun" items go right out the window at that point.

The present storage space is insufficient for even one character, much less 4 of them. Common crafting items alone take more than half the available space if you keep one stack of each type.

Im always having to sell my valuable stuff to make room for more vauable stuff, i have sold numerous amounts of gold items to merchat becz i lack storage.
I spent an hour the other day, moving all upgrades to one character, gold items spread over 2 characters + other stuff dumped on my last character.
The actual "Storage" itself should have at least 50 slots..

Why do you need one stack of each type of crafting material?
When I was more nubbish into this game, I definately needed more slots, mainly due to the fact that I did not know when something was valuable or trash. Now after more experience, the only time I get filled is a farm run, which all the crap is promply sold to the merchant.

Because many thing the game of Guild Wars can be traded for things other than gold. Actually you can trade crafting items and small amounts of gold for top level weapons and armor in Draknar's Forge.

more storage means more server space for anet which = MORE MONEY. this game is free to play. be thankful its free. even if they did start charging it would keep majority of its fanbase and would not suffer.
so instead of causing anet to spend more money maintaining servers for more junk, buy another account get your space and support the game that you love.

Why should I have to purchase a second copy of the game..when they could just as easily increase the storage/char amounts and charge for it? Personally I don't want to install 2 copies of the same game on the same machine...allow me to purchase more space on the game I already have. Besides this wouldn't really help me..as I currently only have 1 computer..I would have to give my items to someone else in game and log out and in...because as far as I know you can't have 2 copies of gw running at the same time on the same comp and have your chars meet in the same instance.

It is actually possible, and you don't have to install Guild Wars twice. But charging for more space (real money) works too, I just think that most people won't like it (kids).

That's why it would be an option. For those who want more inventory and character space they could purchase more. For those who don't want it they don't have to. I would be willing to pay the purchase price for a 2nd copy of guildwars (if that's how anet wanted to work it), but only if it were "added" to the original copy I have. That way everything was all neat and tidy in one place so to speak. Though that wasn't really where I was originally going. I would be willing to pay 20 bucks lets say (real money) for a second or third "page" of inventory...anet gets the extra money for the server space it would require...and what a wonderful world it would be...

Let me get thius straight. You think I should buy another account and trade my customized weapons and armors between characters so that I can keep my collectables, in storage. Not possible. Sorry.
No, all of my items for one account will stay on one account. If I buy another account (possible with my first account fully unlocked) I will be playing it, and that means I will need storage space there.
I think your concerns about bandwidth are out of proportion. Doubling the storage space would make most players happy, but would really only require a small amount of data compared to the amount of the information that each Guild Wars account contains. The real bandwith restraint is managing what is and is not unlocked for each account, and if bandwith was such a concern, there would be UAS/UAI to eliminate that.
Or, by limiting the characters that have access to larger storage they would be able to restrict the bandwith that it does take to the characters that will probably be around for Chapter 2
"It's all about the information. Ones and zeros."

If you sit back and actually think about the argument:
More Storage Space = More Server Space = More money
you are forgetting that someone who buys a 2nd copy of GW will most likely have a 2nd computer. Meaning that they will end up using twice the bandwidth as one copy. And for those of you who know anything about the cost of bandwidth, storage space is a heck of alot cheaper than bandwidth....
I agree on the storage space increase.

How about wearing all your armour at once, and then swapping which one is in effect and viewed. This way you can swap your wardrobe and still wear some clothes underneath. I mean after all this is a game. I know this would save quite a bit of room with some people. Also, adding in double the bank space would be nice. Out of presearing my first time, and seeing that storage, I was like... wow such a little box.

Well I got this Candy Cane Shard yesterday...... I still have no more storage. And to the armor, armor is only a very small part of the problem. We need a lot more storage, and we need more the longer we play.
Maybe they could link it to the /age response.
-500 hours gets double the storage.
-1000 hours gets that doubled.
-2000 hours gets that doubled.
-4000 hours gets that doubled.
-8000
......see the pattern?
I see the problem. People would just stay logged in to gain access to more storage.
Maybe,
-1,000,000 total exp. double
-2,000,000 total exp. gets that doubled
-4,000,000 total exp. gets that doubled
-8,000,000 total exp. gets that doubled
